Bradley Leong: story, director - imdb
Brad Leong began collaborating with Tony Vallone on “Palo Alto” in 2004. In addition to directing the film, he has been coordinating many technical aspects of the production including the construction of additional lights and cranes. Tony Vallone: story, screenplay, associate producer - imdb
Tony Vallone began collaborating with Brad Leong on “Palo Alto” in 2004. He is an award winning filmmaker who in addition to writing the screenplay, as Associate Producer is working closely with the Producer and the Director throughout production providing creative and logistical assitance. He is currently studying at UCLA. Vallone is also in charge of keeping this website full of interesting stuff and he's doing a terrific job. He has probably had sex with your mom.

Daniel Engelhardt: producer - imdb
Daniel Engelhardt is an award-winning producer with experience in film production, business management, marketing, and curriculum development. As Producer he oversees and is responsible for most major aspects of the production; financing, managing the budget, locking locations, hiring the crew, dealmaking with Hollywood guilds, agents, and vendors, and much more. He and Director Brad Leong founded Anchange Productions in 2002. He is currently an Economics Major at UCLA.

Philip Engelhardt : executive producer

Philip Engelhardt is the Managing Partner of PhilQuo Ventures, an angel fund that targets early stage companies in web based services, film production and digital media. He is a longstanding member of the Board of Directors of RKO Pictures, the oldest continuously operating motion picture production company. Engelhardt has served on several corporate boards with interests in film production and animation, and on the board of Cinequest - the San Jose Film Festival. Prior to his tenure as Senior Vice President of strategic Relations at Silicon Graphics, he was technology advisor to Producer Rick McCallum at Lucasfilm Ltd., who conceived and implemented the innovative digital production strategy for Star Wars
Steven Gersh: executive producer
A recent graduate of Duke University (’05), Steven is now earning his masters degree from the Peter Stark Producers Program at USC. He is also currently working at The Gersh Agency in the talent department. In the past Steven has worked for The Gersh Agency, and with the development teams at Universal Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment.

Anthony Barnao: casting director, associate producer
A casting director for over 20 years, Anthony’ credits include feature films, Emmy Award winning television movies, pilots, series and theatre.  He has had a long-standing collaboration with acclaimed director Stuart Gordon that started when he cast Stuart’s first film, the critically acclaimed cult classic “H.P. Lovecraft’s Re-Animator”.  Anthony will be casting Stuart’s next four projects.  Anthony loves working with new film makers and is mostly known for casting cutting edge independent films though he has also cast for larger companies like Paramount and Lions Gate.  Anthony was the former Director of Movies and Mini-Series for CBS in addition to having cast numerous television movies independently.  He is tenacious when he is passionate about a project and has brought such stars as Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Voigt, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hugh Grant, Glenn Close, Jeff Daniels and Gena Rowlands to network television.  Anthony got his start in theatre where he has worked with such stars as Helen Hunt, Catherine Keener, John Goodman, Nathan Lane, Bea Arthur, Fran Dresher and Lesley Ann Warren.  He is also an accomplished director.
Jason McMahon: associate producer, associate casting director - imdb
Jason McMahon was raised in San Diego, CA, and is a 2005 graduate of San Diego State University. Jason recently worked with award winning actress Jacqueline Kim on the film "Present," which screened at the San Francisco Asian American Film Festival, the Hamptons International Film Festival, and the Hawaii International Film Festival. He worked closely with the Anchange production team on the short film "Spin Cycle," which premiered at the UCLA Shorttakes Festival, and the AOL Moviefone Short Film Festival. Jason worked as an Associate Producer and Associate Casting Director for "Palo Alto," where he worked closely with Producer Daniel Engelhardt and veteran Casting Director Anthony Barnao. Jason's involvement in the project began long before camera's started rolling, and he's currently working on promoting the film and the Palo Alto Myspace page.

Rachel Morrison: director of photography - imdb
Rachel Morrison was the first student at NYU to complete a double major BFA in Film & TV and Photography. Since graduating, she has shot film/video for MTV, NBC, PBS, Discovery, Disney, and Biography. Her photography has been published in Esquire, Business 2.0, and Details magazine. While she loves photography, narrative filmmaking is her priority. She was awarded the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker‘s Award for her 1-minute short, “the Auteur” and she received the Nestor Almendros Award for Excellence in Cinematography for her work on “Citlalli’s Prayer”. Rachel resides in Los Angeles, where she just completed a Masters degree in Cinematography from the American Film Institute.

Kevin Gasca : editor - imdb
This is Kevin’s first time collaborating with Anchange Productions. He is in his senior year at Loyola Marymount University, after taking a one-year hiatus to work full time in the film industry.  As the film’s editor, Kevin’s responsibilities are to supervise all the steps in the post-production process for “Palo Alto” and work side-by-side with Brad the director to bring all the visual footage and sound work together into the final version of the film.
Daniel Walker : editor
Daniel Walker recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Film Production.  Daniel has done pretty much everything in the filmmaking process from gaffing award-winning short films to directing his own short, The V-Squad.  He is looking forward to working with Anchange Productions on Palo Alto being a native Northern Californian as well, from San Jose.

Juneau Dahl : production design
Juneau Dahl is a student at the academy of visual and performing arts where he is studying all aspects of film. He was awarded for best art direction in the short film THE RENTAL which premiered at sony studios.
Sam Shiflett : production design
On April 19, 1988 in the Gregorian calandar (some world calandars begin with his birth), Samuel P. Larkin Shiflett was born into a small, working class family in the suburbs of Los Angeles. He studied production design at the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts and he continuies to work under other accomplished designers. Sam is currently studying to receive his B.F.A. in scenic design at the University of Southern California.

Amanda Tharp : Makeup Artist
Amanda Tharp is a new face in the Entertainment Industry. She is a recent graduate from Joe Blasco Make-Up Center West (2005), and is proficient in a wide range of make-up artistry. In addition to Palo Alto, Amandas talents can be seen in music videos and in a couple USC Student short films, and Reality TV shows. Amanda is also a licensed massage therapist, a skill that comes in handy on any movie set. Palo Alto marks Amandas first collaboration with Anchange Productions and her first feature film.

Ian Dickinson: first assistant director
Ian Dickinson is a recent graduate from Washington and Lee University where he majored in English and Geology. He is interested in traveling and music, and he hopes to one day write and direct his own films. He is extremely excited about acting as Assistant Director on the film Palo Alto. He wears a headlamp in the bathroom. You'll have to ask him why.
Jay Hoffman : second assistant director
Jay Hoffman is currently a junior majoring in Media Arts at the University Of Arizona. He he graduated from Palo Alto High School with Brad and Tony. Jay and Tony worked on Palo Alto High School's broadcast journalism show, InFocus, together. Jay has made over 20 short films and his goal is to create his own television series.

Dylan Chapgier : grip
Dylan Chapgier is currently a film major/history minor at UC Santa Cruz. A graduate from Loyola High Schoolin Los Angeles, Dylan has always dreamed of working on a film set, and Palo Alto is his first (cherrypopper?) project he has worked on. Dylan is really happy to be apart of the Anchange family and hopes to work with them in the future.
Rachel Laase: first assistant camera
Rachel Laase is a graduate of Culver City High Schools Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. She was a Film major with a Minor in Theatre Productions. After graduation, she held a Set Design Internship at the Hollywood Bowl Children Series. While at the same time working on the film, "Post Operative" with Anchange. This is Rachel's fourth project with Brad and Dan. They first met while working on their film, "God Bless." Rachel is currently attending San Francisco State University as a double major in Cinematography and Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Scenic Design and a minor in Photography. She looks forward to working with Anchange again in the future.
   
Cody Foltz : boom operator, grip
For the past six years Cody Foltz has participated and worked on numerous theatrical productions as a sound engineer. Cody is a recent graduate from Marymount College where he completed his Associates degree in theatre arts. Most recently he has been awarded by the KCACTF for his achievement in sound design at Marymount College for the production of Crimes of the Heart. Palo Alto marks Cody's first experience in filmmaking and he is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful cast and crew. He hopes to continue working in the entertainment industry as well as pursue further educational studies. He plans to attend Full Sail College in Winter Park, Florida.
   
Luis Madrigal : grip
Luis is a current high school student in the Bay Area and in his free time he studies film and story development. Luis aspires to be a director, writer, stunt man, yo mamas man, cinematographer and a highly regarded pimp that drinks mildly hot dr.pepper and has funny catch fraises like " give my money woman". Palo Alto is the biggest project he has worked as a grip on but he has also worked as a grip in small corporate films - this experience makes him highly attractive to the ladies. He is indeed a man of many talents, and he will castrate you if you don’t be careful- this man is a work horse
Eon Mora : gaffer
An Alumnus of the Culver City High School Film Program, Eon Mora is currently attending Columbia College Chicago with a major in Film and Video. As an award winning filmmaker, he has collaborated with Brad Leong and Daniel Engelhardt since high school and continues to shoot and crew their projects. He works frequently in both Los Angeles in Chicago in camera, grip electric departments, and worked on Palo Alto as Chief Lighting Technician and Second Unit Photographer.

Clara Aranovich : third assistant camera
Clara Aranovich is an award-winning filmmaker and fiction writer who is currently a rising senior at Dartmouth College. Having gone to high school with both Tony and Brad, she was elated to seize their invitation to act as an AC on the set of Palo Alto in its final weeks of filming. While Clara currently focuses on her writing major, her intended career and passions have lain in film direction, production, and acting. Clara also devotes much of her time to her partner position in a student-run consulting firm, design, modeling, her dog Picchu, her family in South America, and reality TV competitions.

Jon Judelson : grip (second unit)
Jon, a graduate of USC's School of Cinema-Television, has committed himself to becoming a top film producer in Northern California. He has been building his own production company, Batterie Productions since 2003 and is also working on multiple startup companies such as EasyToDoList.com. In addition Jon has recently founded the Silicon Valley Filmmaker's Network, the first social networking organization for Silicon Valley based filmmakers. Jon's hobbies include designing home theater systems and reading Wikipedia.
Matt Soscia : grip (second unit)
Matt Soscia is a software engineer, photographer, and aspiring filmmaker. He directed a few horror shorts as a teenager using only a black & white observation camera and 2 VCRs, all he had access to at the time. He is amazed at the equipment now available to the crew of "Palo Alto", where he is gaining some real-world experience. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Columbia and Stanford, respectively. At Stanford, he shot for the "Stanford Daily" newspaper for 2 years. After a recent 6-year stint writing code for Microsoft's TV division, he resigned to pursue other interests. His love of film drew him to this project.
Andrew Tight : PA
Andrew is currently pursuing a Film Studies degree at the University of California at Davis. Over the past four years, Andrew he has edited, directed, produced, and acted in numerous film productions. Although his upcoming feature production PALO ALTO is his first, he hopes to stay in the entertainment business as a director. He is currently writing two screenplays with the intent to produce both shortly. Andrew plans to follow his passion to Los Angeles and attend the University of Southern California School of Cinema and Television.
Kingsley Willis : grip (second unit), PA
Kingsley got involved with “Palo Alto” by responding to a Stanford Film Society email. He fulfilled roles including grip and production management. Kingsley’s ultimate goal is to become a film director who is knowledgeable in every aspect of the process. He currently works as a digital artist for SUMMIT, a multimedia research lab in the Stanford School of Medicine where he is heavily involved in teaching, web design, video editing, 3D design and animation.
